Population & Demographics
The Florida Legislature's Office of Economic and Demographic Research annually provides to the Executive Office of the Governor population estimates of local governmental units as of April 1. This page details these population estimates, in addition to state and county population projections and the methodology used for generating these data. Also presented in this section are census and poverty data, in addition to the listing of dense urban land areas and a form for reporting annexations or contractions.
