State Data Center and Affiliates

The State Data Center (SDC) Program is a partnership with the U. S. Census Bureau designed to facilitate access, knowledge, training, and usage of Census data products and tools. By statute, the Florida Legislative Office of Economic and Demographic Research (EDR) is the lead for the Florida SDC program, administering a network of SDC affiliates throughout the state (list coming soon). In addition to EDR, affiliates can assist with any Census data needs or questions.

To qualify as an affiliate, an organization must be a nonprofit. Examples are governmental agencies, regional planning councils, local workforce or economic development agencies, public libraries, or units within colleges or universities. Affiliate agencies must agree to provide localized assistance and services to data users and complete an annual report on these services.

To find a data center in another state, go to the Census Bureau's State Data Center webpage. If you are interested in becoming an affiliate, please feel free to contact EDR.
